Parkade Sale Agreement

Town officials finalized an agreement conveying the former Broad Street Parkade property to Anthony Properties of Dallas, Texas. The property was sold for a purchase price of $3.6 million and the developer is anticipated to invest $80 million in the project overall. This marks a major milestone in the Town’s ongoing redevelopment efforts on Broad Street.

2026 Revaluation Overview

A Revaluation is when all of the properties in a town or city are revalued to calibrate to the current market. The timing is based on a state-mandated schedule, and every town in Connecticut has to be revalued on a rotating schedule every 5 years

Mobile Food Pantry 2026

Connecticut Foodshare’s Mobile Pantry provides food at more than 100 locations in a no questions asked, outdoor “farmers market” setting. Items offered typically include fresh produce and other perishable foods.
