Manchester 2020 is the Town’s Plan of Conservation and Development. Updated every 10 years, Manchester 2020 was adopted in 2012 by the Planning and Zoning Commission. It is a policy guide for the Town’s boards and commissions and contains the community’s aspirations, goals, and recommended actions to achieve those goals. The Planning and Zoning Commission and the Town are now working on carrying out the recommendations of Manchester 2020.

Node and Corridor Studies
One of Manchester 2020’s goals is to redevelop and invest in existing and potential corridors and activity nodes. The Planning and Zoning Commission and Town staff are conducting a series of preliminary studies to identify opportunities and challenges in various Town nodes and corridors. These studies will include public workshops to gather community input on how to strengthen these important centers of activity for Manchester.
Below is the first staff presentation from the public workshops and summary reports of the community input and discussion.
