Cold conditions are expected to continue through the week and into late next week. If you are at risk from the cold, please feel free to call 860-645-5500 for help. Last Day to Pay Tax Bills: February 2, 2026

Failure to pay any tax that is due by February 2, 2026 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of January 1, 2026.

Tax offices are open until 6pm February 2, 2026.

Whiton Branch Library Closed 2/2-2/4

Mailbox Damage Claims:

For a damaged mailbox the most efficient way to notify our team is by submitting a claim by using the MarkIt tool using this link: MarkIt Manchester. To further help Town staff, please attach any relevant photos or videos you may have to your submission. Once you submit your claim, please allow a few business days for our Public Works team to review your damage. Our Public Works Department will assess the damage at your home and, if possible, repair your mailbox at that time. If you have any issues submitting a MarkIt claim, please use the Mailbox Damage Claim Form by clicking this link: Mail Damage Claim Form or by calling the Town Attorney's office at 860-647-3132.
