Failure to pay any tax that is due by February 2, 2026 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of January 1, 2026.

The Town, as its discretion, retains the right to substitute a floating holiday on a date of its choosing in lieu of the traditional date for celebrating Lincoln's Birthday, provided there is notification of the substitute holiday not later than December 31st for the following year.
