Learn to Make A Quilted Tote Bag (REGISTRATION STARTS 3/4/2024)

The Manchester Public Library is pleased to host The Greater Hartford Quilt Guild for a “Learn to Make a Quilted Tote Bag” two-part craft series on Thursday, March 14, and Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Whiton Branch Library on 100 North Main Street.

The Greater Hartford Quilt Guild will be teaching aspiring quilters how to make a quilted tote bag in this program which requires no previous quilting knowledge. The finished tote bag is 16” x 18” and is sturdy enough for shopping or use as a purse, laptop, or book bag. Fabric, batting, and quilting tools will be provided for this craft. Participants must be able to attend both sessions and bring their own working sewing machine.
