In the coming weeks, a two-person Arcadis inspection team will conduct in-home service line inspections at select Manchester residences. Team members will carry identification badges and wear Arcadis-branded safety vests. If your property is selected for inspection, you will receive a door hanger notice in advance. The Town of Manchester Department of Public Works, Engineering Division proposes to install approximately 1,000 feet of 5 ft-wide concrete sidewalk on the north side of Hilliard Street between Adams Street and Duval Street. The project will close an existing sidewalk gap in the neighborhood.
Other work includes ADA compliant sidewalk ramps, installation of a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon at the easterly mid-block pedestrian crossing, erosion & sedimentation control, maintenance and protection of traffic, restoration of lawns and driveways, and other appurtenant work.
This project is in part grant funded through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) administered through the Manchester Community Development Program.
