The Manchester Public Library is pleased to host Clare Vidich, long-time meditation practitioner and lecturer, for “Meditation: A Tool to Balance Your Life” on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at the Whiton Branch Library on 100 North Main Street.

 

We live in a fast paced world, filled with challenges and constant demands made on our precious time. Wouldn't it be nice if we could step back, take a little vacation from all the tension and find a place filled with joy, bliss and peace? Clare Vidich is a retired Montessori school teacher, who has been meditating for over 40 years. She has lectured nationally on the topic of meditation and has conducted meditation classes at the adult education, college, high school, grade school and preschool level. She served on the Integrative Health Committee at Windham Hospital and led meditations for hospital staff. Vidich will explain how the practice of meditation contributes to a more positive, healthy lifestyle that helps reduce stress, gain a deeper sense of fulfillment in life as well as foster greater physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. There will even be a chance to practice this simple technique.
