Over the next 2 weeks, crews will be doing a leaf collection test run in select areas to test equipment functionality. This is not the official leaf pickup. A second, formal pass will follow later to collect leaves properly. The official leaf collection programs begins November 10. Thank you for your patience while we fine-tune the process.

We are urging Manchester residents to take caution and prepare for the predicted high winds and heavy rains occurring this afternoon through the evening and tomorrow (1.10).
Due to the recent winter storm, snow has blocked many catch basins around Town. DPW crews continue to work hard to clear them up and encourage residents to assist in clearing any debris and/or trash in the catch basins in front of their home.
If a traffic light is out, please come to a full stop at the light and treat the intersection or roadway as a regular stop. If it is a four-way intersection, treat it as a four-way stop.
Please report any outages HERE or call Eversource at 800-286-2000 & treat downed lines as dangerous/live.
Yard debris may be dropped off at the Transfer Station or picked up on regular collection day.
Flash flooding is possible in low lying areas and those prone to flooding. During a flood, water levels and flow rate can quickly change. Ensure you are not driving or walking into floodwaters. Stay informed and please visit weather.gov/safety/flood for more safety tips.
