In your home you are the most important line of defense. Prevention is key! Keeping your home free from rodents is all about prevention and exclusion. Don't give them a place to live or food to eat. Clean up! Clean up to eliminate rodent food and nesting sources. Seal up! Seal up common entrances into the home. Trap up! Trap up rodents to decrease their population. Fight the bite!Protect your home from mosquitos. Mosquitos can develop in any standing water that is present for more than 5 days. Eliminate water sources like old tires, clogged drains/gutters, and buckets from your yard that can collect water. No Water = No Mosquitos. Preventing Ticks Don't get sick, check for ticks! Prevent ticks by using bug repellent that contains 20% or more DEET, picaridin or IR3535. Wear light colored clothing to easily spot them. Check for ticks after being outdoors, especially in wooded areas or in tall grass/brush. See a doctor if you have: Rash, Chills, Body Aches, Fever, or a Headache
