3. Call 860-647-3025 and we will mail an application.

4. Register in Person:  Mon-Thur 8am – 4:30pm and Fri 8am - 1:00pm

Early voting for the Gubernatorial Primary Election will be held at Mahoney Recreation Center, located at 110 Cedar Street (rear entrance):

*Registered Republicans can vote in the Republican Primary

*Registered Democrats can vote in the Democrat Primary

*Deadline for an enrolled elector to transfer from one party to another and be eligible to vote in the state and district office primary of the new party is May 11, 2026.

• Tuesday August 4, 2026 8am – 8pm (extended hours)
• Wednesday August 5, 2026 10am – 6pm
• Thursday August 6, 2026 8am – 8pm (extended hours)
• Friday August 7, 2026 10am – 6pm
• Saturday August 8, 2026 10am – 6pm 
• Sunday August 9, 2026 10am – 6pm

The Gubernatorial Primary Election will take place August 11, 2026 6am – 8pm.  All regular polling locations will be open.

Same Day Registration on Election Day will take place at Mahoney Recreation Center, located at 110 Cedar Street (rear entrance).  Main St, 1st floor

Look up polling sites by street address.

Verify registration status. Your name must be entered exactly as it is entered in the system. If not found, call the Registrar of Voters office at 860-647-3025.

How to Use:

Complete your paper ballot the same way you've done in the past.
Insert your ballot into the secure tabulator face up or face down>
Allow the machine to pull in your ballot automatically.
Watch the machine scan your ballot. Bigger screen = Easier viewing
Receive a confirmation message that your vote has been counted. Done!

If you receive any other message, notify a poll worker.

The Manchester Registrar of Voters are always looking for good people who care about their community, who want to ensure that each vote counts, and who want each voter to have the best possible voting experience. This is an opportunity to fulfill an important civic duty and earn money at the same time.  We have several election worker positions available for the upcoming election. 

• Job details: Stipend amount will be based on the position you are placed in.

Hours are 5:15am (promptly at) until the closing of the polls (election ends at 8pm, but workers must remain until the books are complete and the polling location is officially closed by the Moderator).

Training is mandatory (by state statute) prior to Election Day.

• Requirements: You must be a US Citizen.

You must be 16 years old, and if 18+ you must be a registered voter as well.

The Registrars Office is located at 479 Main Street, at the northeast corner of East Center Street and Main Street. There is parking available behind the building, we are on the first floor.
