Bidwell street will be closed from Hartford Road to Ramey drive starting 9/22/2026, for 30 days to allow for sewer main installation. Detour signs have been installed to help residents navigate around closure area.Salters Pool Parking Lot will be closed starting 9/21/2026, for 6-8 weeks to allow reconstruction of the parking lot. Pond access will be maintained during construction.

In the coming weeks, a two-person Arcadis inspection team will conduct in-home service line inspections at select Manchester residences. Team members will carry identification badges and wear Arcadis-branded safety vests. If your property is selected for inspection, you will receive a door hanger notice in advance. The Town of Manchester operates an active Bulky/Construction & Demolition Waste Landfill. The Landfill is permitted by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. The Landfill is also permitted to accept petroleum contaminated soils, regulated soils and other non-hazardous special and manufacturing wastes. Listed below are the standard forms and applications that are required to transact business with the Town of Manchester's Landfill as a commercial customer.
