The Town of Manchester Department of Public Works, Engineering Division proposes to install at Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon also known as an R.R.F.B at the School Children mid-block crosswalk at Buckley School on Vernon Street, in the Town of Manchester. Other appurtenant work includes replacement of sidewalks ramps to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, installation of pedestal foundations, restoration of lawn areas, and traffic control.
This work is funded through the "Enhanced Pedestrian Crossings" Program under the Department of Public Works Capital Budget.
