The Extreme Hot Weather Protocol will be activated at 12:00 PM on Monday, August 11, and remain in effect through at least 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 14, this week. During this period, temperatures are expected to reach into the 100s and will be accompanied by humid conditions. If you are at risk from the heat, call 860-645-5500 for assistance.
This project includes the replacement of approximately 750 cobra head style street lights at various locations within Town. Upon completion of this project, all cobra head style street lights in Manchester will have been upgraded to LED. A future project to convert remaining lantern style street lights will be forthcoming in 2023.
