Family Place Program The Family Place program at Manchester Public Library incorporates school readiness concepts, nutrition, development, music and movement, behavior and literacy.
Outdoor Storytime @ Main For all ages; bring blankets or lawn chairs and meet us outside for stories and song, weather permitting. Inside for inclement weather.
Friends of the Library The Friends of the Manchester Public Library is a non-profit, non-political volunteer organization. It is the responsibility of the Friends to administer funds raised, donated, granted or endowed to secure materials that are beyond the scope of the library budget.
Family Place The Parent / Child WorkshopThe 5 week fall session will start on Tuesday September 9th at 6pm at the Main library. This informal program is for children 0-36 months and their parents. Siblings up to 5 are welcome. It offers visits with professionals from the community, developmentally appropriate toys and art activities. Registration is required and begins 8/25 call 860-645-0577.
ABC Storytime For all ages; story time is represented by a different letter of the alphabet each week , includes craft.
Preschool Fun with Math Storytime @ Whiton For ages 3-5; includes math-related story and math activities.
Saturday Storytime Storytime - For all ages, best suited for children 2-5; enjoy stories, songs & finger plays.
Mother Goose (0 to 24 months) Geared towards children 0-24 months; includes bounces, songs and a story.
Stroller Storytime For ages 0-5; join us for a stroller walk around the park with stops for stories & songs. Meet in the library's Howroyd Room at 10:30 am. We will not walk in inclement weather; call 860-647-0577 to confirm.
Back to School Storytime For all ages; best suited for ages 2-5. Special school themed storytime with a craft.
