Bidwell street will be closed from Hartford Road to Ramey drive starting 9/22/2026, for 30 days to allow for sewer main installation. Detour signs have been installed to help residents navigate around closure area.Salters Pool Parking Lot will be closed starting 9/21/2026, for 6-8 weeks to allow reconstruction of the parking lot. Pond access will be maintained during construction.
In the coming weeks, a two-person Arcadis inspection team will conduct in-home service line inspections at select Manchester residences. Team members will carry identification badges and wear Arcadis-branded safety vests. If your property is selected for inspection, you will receive a door hanger notice in advance. The Economic Development Commission is an advisory agency that studies and investigates conditions affecting Manchester industry, business, commerce, agriculture, recreational and residential facilities. It promotes and encourages the preservation, expansion and development of the Town's diverse economy. The Commission collaborates with local, regional, and state economic development entities to ensure Manchester is part of the regional economy. The EDC meeting schedule is the second Thursday of the month at 8:00 a.m. in the Directors Room of Lincoln Center, 494 Main St.
