Over the next 2 weeks, crews will be doing a leaf collection test run in select areas to test equipment functionality. This is not the official leaf pickup. A second, formal pass will follow later to collect leaves properly. The official leaf collection programs begins November 10. Thank you for your patience while we fine-tune the process.
Fall Back! Clocks go back one hour on Sunday, November 2nd at 2 a.m.The Manchester Fire Department reminds you to also change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and test them monthly. Please replace your smoke alarms every 10 years and carbon monoxide alarms every 7 years.

Manchester's Health Department and Connecticut Department of Public Health are offering a free COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at the Whiton Library, 100 North Main St.
Also: Free Health Screenings Offered: Diabetes Risk Testing; A1C Testing; Blood Pressure.
No appointment is needed. No insurance required. Please bring a health insurance card and photo ID if you have them, but it is not necessary to have health insurance or ID to receive the vaccine. No one will be turned away for lack of insurance or ID.
All ages. 1st & 2nd Doses plus Boosters available for those eligible.
