Excessive high temperatures are predicted Tuesday, 7/15 through Friday, 7/18, this week. In addition to 90+ degree temperatures, very humid conditions may push the heat index up to at least 100 degrees each day. Residents are advised to please take proper precautions. If you are at risk from the heat, call 860-645-5500 for assistance.
Failure to pay any tax that is due by August 1, 2025 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of July 1, 2025. The Town of Manchester mailed the tax bills for the October 1, 2024 Grand List on June 20, 2025.

The Town of Manchester will conduct a fire flow/hydraulic capacity test, at Elm Street / Forest St area, Manchester, CT to determine the effects upon the water distribution system.
The test will take place Tuesday, April 30, 2024starting at 10:00 AM.
The hydrant flow test may result in reduced pressure and/or discoloration of the water in the area of Elm Street / Forest St, Manchester, CT.
It normally takes a few hours for the water to clear in a home. If water appears discolored for an extended period, the homeowner should call the Water Division at 860-647-6050.
