Excessive high temperatures are predicted Tuesday, 7/15 through Friday, 7/18, this week. In addition to 90+ degree temperatures, very humid conditions may push the heat index up to at least 100 degrees each day. Residents are advised to please take proper precautions. If you are at risk from the heat, call 860-645-5500 for assistance.
Failure to pay any tax that is due by August 1, 2025 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of July 1, 2025. The Town of Manchester mailed the tax bills for the October 1, 2024 Grand List on June 20, 2025.

Milling and resurfacing operations on the below streets will begin on Wednesday, June 12th, and take approximately three weeks to complete. Weekdays from 7AM to 5PM.

Expect minor delays during active construction while alternating traffic control or detours are used.
**Note: Brookfield Street will not begin until after last day of school, which is June 17th.
