Beginning on January 1, 2024, electric rates are increasing for all consumers in CT, but discounted low-income rates are available by contacting Eversource and UI directly for more information.
All electric customers (regardless of income) can shop competitively for their electric supply rates and apply for energy saving programs (i.e weatherization, rebates, etc.) at https://energizect.com/
Other income-based assistance is available through CRT https://www.crtct.org/ and Operation Fuel https://operationfuel.org.
