4/5 Earthquake Update

The Town of Manchester has received many inquiries regarding a possible earthquake. The United States Geological Survey (USGS) data confirms that a 4.8 magnitude earthquake occurred just west of Newark, NJ at 10:23 AM. There have been some reports of a 2nd earthquake in Bethel, ME which are being further investigated. Earthquakes between 2.5 and 5.4 magnitudes typically are felt but only cause minor if any damage.
