In this workshop, participants can expect to explore the following areas:

Budgeting

Are finances often tight for you? Are you looking to save and struggling with how to make that possible? Would it help your household if you understood more about income, expenses and budgeting? Many individuals were never given the opportunity to learn how to effectively manage their money. Our social workers will take you through an exercise for you to understand your relationship with money and provide tips and tools to help you meet your goals.

Nutrition

Struggling with making time to prepare and cook meals? Do you find you’re often rushing or tired at dinnertime, and wishing that your meals were more intentional, healthier and quicker but not certain how to do this or worried about affordability? Interested in creating consistent routines that work for your family? Our social workers are ready to help you organize your day to day using visual activities, planning tools, preparation guides and more!

Jobs/Trainings

Are you looking to increase your income? Find better employment opportunities? Further your training, or learn a new skill to advance your job experience? Our social workers are here to assist you with tools for job tracking, resources for employment, training and financial aid.

Supports/Self Care

When’s the last time you did something for you? How well are you managing your responsibilities and making decisions? Do you have a go to support when you’re in need of help? Are you in need of help, perhaps a listening ear, and uncertain where to turn? Our social workers invite you for the opportunity to have their undivided attention, to learn about prioritizing, ways to improve decision making, resources to connect with the best care needed and explore how to create and maintain a meaningful support system.
