Bidwell street will be closed from Hartford Road to Ramey drive starting 9/22/2026, for 30 days to allow for sewer main installation. Detour signs have been installed to help residents navigate around closure area.Salters Pool Parking Lot will be closed starting 9/21/2026, for 6-8 weeks to allow reconstruction of the parking lot. Pond access will be maintained during construction.

In the coming weeks, a two-person Arcadis inspection team will conduct in-home service line inspections at select Manchester residences. Team members will carry identification badges and wear Arcadis-branded safety vests. If your property is selected for inspection, you will receive a door hanger notice in advance. The Town's 2026 Paving and Preservation Program is comprised of various contracts relating to road resurfacing, pavement crack sealing and patching. See side panel for complete road resurfacing list (curb to curb) proposed for 2026. Most of these roads will be completed under our main road resurfacing contract with Tilcon Paving. Some roads, however, are being resurfaced in conjunction with other utility improvements. Funding for the program is provided from the 2025 Public Works Bond Referendum.
