In the coming weeks, a two-person Arcadis inspection team will conduct in-home service line inspections at select Manchester residences. Team members will carry identification badges and wear Arcadis-branded safety vests. If your property is selected for inspection, you will receive a door hanger notice in advance. Tax Relief for Veterans / Active Duty Military EXEMPTIONS FOR VETERANS
To receive a veteran’s exemption on the assessed value of your real or personal property, you must file in the Town Clerk’s office your original DD-214 certificate. The Town Clerk is also allowed to accept certified copies from the VA, or certified copies from another town where the DD-214 has previously been filed. There is no fee for filing.
Duplicate copies of DD-214's may be obtained by contacting the National Archives and Records Administration 1-866-272-6272. Or you can visit their website at http://www.archives.gov/index.html.
