Mission Statement: The Friends of the Manchester Public Library is a non-profit, non-political volunteer organization. It is the responsibility of the Friends to administer funds raised, donated, granted or endowed to secure materials that are beyond the scope of the library budget.

People can join the Friends at the meeting, or print out a membership form(PDF, 40KB) . Paper forms are available at both public libraries.

Book Sale Information

The proceeds of the sale are used to purchase items for the summer reading programs, museum passes, book trucks and other equipment requested by library staff. The book sale provides very inexpensive books to children, families, and general readers. Questions may be directed to 860-645-0577.
