The following fall programs & special events are facilitated by the Neighborhoods & Families Division. 

Northwest Park Farmers Market
The Northwest Park Farmers Market is back this fall for its 5th season! Vendor selections are thoughtfully curated to include diverse food and business owners, with products including fresh fruits & vegetables, meats & eggs, honey & maple syrup, baked goods, vegan offerings, CT food trucks & artisans.

Eastside Arts and Crafts Nights

Eastside Arts and Crafts nights are free, drop-in art nights for families & friends! Come enjoy themed craft kits, scrapbooking, card making and more! 

• Meets: 1st Friday, September - December, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Location: Eastside Neighborhood Resource Center
• Ages: All ages welcome

Friendship Bracelet Night (September 5)
Create beautiful bracelets, explore your creative side & bond with friends at Friendship Bracelet Night!

Mini-Pumpkin Painting Night (October 3)
Join us at our Mini-Pumpkin Painting Night! Tap into your creative side and turn your mini pumpkin into a spooky ghost, black cat or anything you desire! Pumpkins will be provided (while supplies last). 

DIY Scrapbook Night (November 7)
Come create your very own scrapbook with stickers, magazines, stencils and more at our DIY Scrapbook Night! Enjoy this memorable craft with friends and family. 

Holiday Card Making & Gift Wrapping (December 5)
Unleash your creativity with a variety of festive arts and crafts, including themed kits, holiday card making and gift wrapping. Wrapping materials will be provided - just bring your gifts!

Family Fun Nights

Family Fun Nights are based on the idea that, when it comes to creating connections – fun comes first! These events provide families a positive, no-cost opportunity for connection & recreation.

Board Game Night (September 19)
Come enjoy a variety of board games with friends and family! Enjoy an evening of strategy, laughter and friendly competition!

Brain Circus (October 17)
Join Marvelous Marvin for this family-friendly event that blends magic, juggling and comedy! Since 1995, Marvin has surprised his audiences – start the laugh count, join in the fun & be amazed! 

Jigsaw Puzzle Night (November 21)
Come challenge your mind & have fun solving a variety of puzzles with friends and family. Enjoy an evening of brain teasers, jigsaw puzzles & riddles – perfect for all ages and skill levels!

Hot Chocolate Social (December 19)
Come cozy up on Spruce Street at our Hot Chocolate Social! Bring your friends and family, enjoy a screening of The Polar Express and play your favorite board games!
