Advocacy and Coordinating Resources

The Town of Manchester is committed to addressing homelessness in our community.  The Town's Director of Human Services, Joel Cox, is primarily responsible for coordinating efforts to address housing instability and homelessness.  If you are a provider, resident or partner and have thoughts, questions, suggestions or concerns about homelessness -or- you would like to participate in conversations/efforts to address homelessness, please reach out to Director Cox at 860-647-3091 or jcox@manchesterct.org

Warming Center

In partnership with MACC Charities and Journey Home, the Town hosted a site for a Warming Center during the 2021-2022 winter season.  The Warming Center served over 40 individuals with a safe space to stay during the coldest months of the year.  Please check back later for information regarding our operations for the 2022-2023 winter season.
