The Town of Manchester mailed the tax bills for the October 1, 2025 Grand List on June 22, 2026. The first installment of taxes on the Grand List of October 1, 2025 are due and payable on July 1, 2026.Failure to pay any tax that is due by August 3, 2026 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of July 1, 2026.
To allow our staff to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the Fourth of July, the Manchester Transfer Station and Landfill will be closed on Friday July 3 and Saturday July 4.
In order to promote and maintain wellness among senior citizens, the Health Department offers free health programming and screenings for all town residents 60 years of age and older.
Blood Pressure Screenings are offered every Wednesday at the Senior Center, located at 549 East Middle Turnpike in Manchester, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. No appointment is necessary.
Individual health counseling services, such as fall assessments and referral services are also offered. Please call the Geratriic Clinic Nurse/Health Education Coordinator, at 647-3173 for an appointment.
Senior Foot Care is offered a couple of Fridays each month. Services are $60/cash, check or charge. Call the Health Department at 647-3173 to schedule an appointment.
