In the coming weeks, a two-person Arcadis inspection team will conduct in-home service line inspections at select Manchester residences. Team members will carry identification badges and wear Arcadis-branded safety vests. If your property is selected for inspection, you will receive a door hanger notice in advance. In order to promote and maintain wellness among senior citizens, the Health Department offers free health programming and screenings for all town residents 60 years of age and older.
Blood Pressure Screenings are offered every Wednesday at the Senior Center, located at 549 East Middle Turnpike in Manchester, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. No appointment is necessary.
Individual health counseling services, such as fall assessments and referral services are also offered. Please call the Geratriic Clinic Nurse/Health Education Coordinator, at 647-3173 for an appointment.
Senior Foot Care is offered a couple of Fridays each month. Services are $60/cash, check or charge. Call the Health Department at 647-3173 to schedule an appointment.
