Manchester Toy and Gift Drive
Manchester Young Democrats are collecting for two organizations this year: • Interval House, a nonprofit agency dedicated to preventing and breaking the cycle of domestic violence, and • Blue Angels Foundation, a community-support group of current and retired Manchester Police. All are welcome to donate for local residents, as follows: • Interval House asks for $25 gift cards to Target, Wal-Mart, ShopRite, Stop and Shop, CVS, Walgreens, and Visa prepaid debit cards, and • Police ask for unwrapped non-violent toys and gifts, for any age from infant through teen, for distribution to local families who have been selected through an application process. This is the 26th annual gift drive, which aims to make the holidays brighter for Manchester-area children in need. Donors have always included Democrats, Republicans, service organizations, churches, local businesses, clubs, and individuals. Drop off donations weekdays 9:00 to 5:00 up to Friday, December 13, at the Barlow Law Office, 172 East Center St., Manchester. Questions may be directed to 860-646-4081.
