The Manchester Police Department is issuing an Snow Emergency Parking Ban in advance of a significant winter storm forecasted for this weekend and into early next week.The parking ban will take effect at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, and will remain in effect until 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24.
Trash and recycling curbside collection will not occur on Monday, 2/23. The normal collection schedule will be pushed back 1 day all week. Residents should keep their trash and recycling bins away from the streets and sidewalks until after snow cleanup has been completed.

Serenity Hike at Bush Hill, Manchester
The Manchester Land Conservation Trust invites you to bring an open mind and your curiosity to a special walk combining meditation and connecting to nature. Shinrin-yoku is a Japanese tradition that can be translated as Forest Bathing. The free walk includes meditation breaks and taking in the healing qualities of nature. All are welcome – singles, adults, families, children age 10 and up. Land Trust member Dan Boughton will lead the walk, starting at 330 Bush Hill Road, on Saturday, February 24 from 10:00 a.m. until noon. Please wear sturdy shoes that can handle some wet conditions. Rain or snow date: Sunday, February 25. Check manchesterlandtrust.org for any updates the night before the walk.
