An Ice Cream Social in celebration of National Night Out will be held on Tuesday evening August 2nd starting at 5:00pm at the East Side Neighborhood Resource Center located at 153 Spruce Street. National Night Out is an opportunity for neighbors and our local community police officers to come together for a fun event and to bond over shared concerns regarding neighborhood safety. Residents are encouraged to stay and mingle for awhile and upon returning home we ask that you leave your porch lights on overnight on this special day as an expression of neighborhood solidarity. This event is sponsored by the Blockwatch and could not take place without the generosity of Manchester's very own Royal Ice Cream.
