Excessive high temperatures are predicted Tuesday, 7/15 through Friday, 7/18, this week. In addition to 90+ degree temperatures, very humid conditions may push the heat index up to at least 100 degrees each day. Residents are advised to please take proper precautions. If you are at risk from the heat, call 860-645-5500 for assistance.
Failure to pay any tax that is due by August 1, 2025 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of July 1, 2025. The Town of Manchester mailed the tax bills for the October 1, 2024 Grand List on June 20, 2025.

If you are above the age of 40 and have not had a screening mammogram in the past 12 months Take the Time to visit the Hartford Hospital Mobile Mammography bus at the Community Y, 78 North Main Street on Wednesday, November 23rd. Appointments are required and can be set up by calling Manchester Health Department (860-647-3173). Insurance is billed directly by Hartford Hospital. Those without insurance can obtain a no-cost mammogram with this Hartford Hospital community program.
