Excessive high temperatures are predicted Tuesday, 7/15 through Friday, 7/18, this week. In addition to 90+ degree temperatures, very humid conditions may push the heat index up to at least 100 degrees each day. Residents are advised to please take proper precautions. Failure to pay any tax that is due by August 1, 2025 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of July 1, 2025. The Town of Manchester mailed the tax bills for the October 1, 2024 Grand List on June 20, 2025.

Land Trust Dinner and Annual Meeting
The Manchester Land Conservation Trust will hold its annual meeting and dinner at Georgina's, 275 Boston Turnpike, Bolton Notch, on Friday, May 19, starting at 5:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend and find out more about the Trust. Our guest speaker, wildlife biologist Jane Seymour, will present an illustrated program about flora, fauna, and management of invasive species.
The cost is $40.00 for members; $45 for non-members, $21.60 for children age 12 and under. Social time and cash bar at 5:30, buffet dinner at 6:00 p.m., featuring: vegetarian, chicken, and fish entrées, vegetables, and dessert.
