Excessive high temperatures are predicted Tuesday, 7/15 through Friday, 7/18, this week. In addition to 90+ degree temperatures, very humid conditions may push the heat index up to at least 100 degrees each day. Residents are advised to please take proper precautions. If you are at risk from the heat, call 860-645-5500 for assistance.
Failure to pay any tax that is due by August 1, 2025 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of July 1, 2025. The Town of Manchester mailed the tax bills for the October 1, 2024 Grand List on June 20, 2025.
Landfill and Transfer Station Hours will change on July 1st 2025. Please visit the Sanitation page for more information on these changes.
Community Baby Shower
Manchester Early Childhood Collaborative partners with ECHN Family Birthing Center & ECHN Family Development Center. There will be fun activities, toys, local resources and providers, baby gear swap, and more all for the littlest (or soon-to-be) Manchester residents and their families.
