Over the next 2 weeks, crews will be doing a leaf collection test run in select areas to test equipment functionality. This is not the official leaf pickup. Join the Town of Manchester’s Department of Leisure, Family and Recreation and the American Ramp Company on Tuesday, June 25th at 6:00 PM at Work_Space, 903 Main Street, for a community engagement discussion/workshop to inform the design of the Charter Oak Park West pump track and all-wheel park.

The pump track and all-wheel park are part of the second phase of exciting upgrades and renovations to Charter Oak Park West. The improvements are community-driven and informed by recommendations from the 2021 Town of Manchester Parks and Facilities Master Plan.
In 2017, $2 million worth of improvements were completed, including new playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts, a revamped softball field and more. The next phase of construction will include improvements to modernize the western portion of the park, including the all-wheel park and pump track, turf soccer field, bathrooms, and a new parking area.
