Excessive high temperatures are predicted Tuesday, 7/15 through Friday, 7/18, this week. In addition to 90+ degree temperatures, very humid conditions may push the heat index up to at least 100 degrees each day. Residents are advised to please take proper precautions. Failure to pay any tax that is due by August 1, 2025 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of July 1, 2025. The Town of Manchester mailed the tax bills for the October 1, 2024 Grand List on June 20, 2025.

Trails Day at Center Springs
The Manchester Land Conservation Trust will host an easy Trails Day walk at Center Springs Park, 39 Lodge Drive, Manchester on Saturday, June 3, at 1:00 p.m. This 1.25-mile walk will loop around the 55-acre urban park in the geographical center of Manchester, with a side trip to the Cheney Railroad. Leader will point out park history and interesting geological features. No dogs, please. This moderately paced free walk will take little over 1 hour and will be held rain or shine.
