Over the next 2 weeks, crews will be doing a leaf collection test run in select areas to test equipment functionality. This is not the official leaf pickup. A second, formal pass will follow later to collect leaves properly. The official leaf collection programs begins November 10. Thank you for your patience while we fine-tune the process.
The Town of Manchester will conduct a fire flow/hydraulic capacity test at 160 Spruce Street, Manchester CT to determine the effects upon the water distribution system. The test will take place on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM.

A Mother Goose PreSchool Kids' Fair & Open House will be offered free of charge on Saturday, September 13th from 11am to 1pm at 20 Hartford Road. There will be games and activities for young children. Featuring the Imagination Playground, Water Play, Sand Play, Obstacle Course, Crafts and more! A balloon and ice cream for each child while supplies last. Visit a Manchester Fire Department truck! There will be a free family raffle of some great prizes.
