Bidwell street will be closed from Hartford Road to Ramey drive starting 9/22/2026, for 30 days to allow for sewer main installation. Detour signs have been installed to help residents navigate around closure area.Salters Pool Parking Lot will be closed starting 9/21/2026, for 6-8 weeks to allow reconstruction of the parking lot. Pond access will be maintained during construction.

In the coming weeks, a two-person Arcadis inspection team will conduct in-home service line inspections at select Manchester residences. Team members will carry identification badges and wear Arcadis-branded safety vests. If your property is selected for inspection, you will receive a door hanger notice in advance. Manchester Art Association will host an “Intro to Abstract Art” workshop with Polly Castor. This active workshop will help you understand the essential principles and components of strong meaningful abstract art and include exercises and discussion of student work. The workshop is Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 10 am – 4 pm at Manchester Church of Christ, 595 Tolland Turnpike and costs $100.
