Failure to pay any tax that is due by February 2, 2026 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of January 1, 2026.

The Town Attorney's office is located on the second floor of Town Hall, 41 Center Street and can be contacted at 860-647-3132 or by fax at 860-647-3134. Hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Tuesday 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. The office is staffed by three attorneys with responsibilities as follows:
