Great Lawn Walk

This free history walk features "The Great Lawn", 9 acres purchased by the Town of Manchester in 2005 for open space and historic preservation. The walk will proceed along streets and lawn to view historic mansions. Cheney District Commission members Tom Ferguson and Susan Barlow will lead the walk, providing commentary on the historic landscape and buildings. Please note, there is some steep and uneven ground, so participants should wear sturdy shoes or boots. The walk will still be held if there is light rain, but will be canceled in the event of extreme weather.
