The Manchester Police Department is issuing an Snow Emergency Parking Ban in advance of a significant winter storm forecasted for this weekend and into early next week.The parking ban will take effect at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, and will remain in effect until 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24.
Trash and recycling curbside collection will not occur on Monday, 2/23. The normal collection schedule will be pushed back 1 day all week. Residents should keep their trash and recycling bins away from the streets and sidewalks until after snow cleanup has been completed.

A water shutoff will be occurring from 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM on Thursday, May 1st for the following: 43-98 Church St, 9-31 Laurel St., 82 & 90 Chestnut St, Laurel Pl., Oak Pl., Be sure to draw water sufficient for your needs before shut off. For drinking and cooking purposes fill clean containers and fill the bathtub with water for toilet flushing. If your supply runs low you are able to obtain water at our bottling station at 125 Spring St. You must bring your own containers. The Water Department apologizes for any inconvenience this shut down has caused you. The Water Department assumes no responsibility for damage on the premises as a result of the water being shut off.
