Bidwell street will be closed from Hartford Road to Ramey drive starting 9/22/2026, for 30 days to allow for sewer main installation. Detour signs have been installed to help residents navigate around closure area.Salters Pool Parking Lot will be closed starting 9/21/2026, for 6-8 weeks to allow reconstruction of the parking lot. Pond access will be maintained during construction.
In the coming weeks, a two-person Arcadis inspection team will conduct in-home service line inspections at select Manchester residences. Team members will carry identification badges and wear Arcadis-branded safety vests. If your property is selected for inspection, you will receive a door hanger notice in advance. The Town of Manchester is excited to announce the second round of funding for the Sustainability Grant program. This ARPA-funded opportunity of up to $50,000 per recipient is exclusively for nonprofits to address resiliency, equity, and sustainability within the Town of Manchester. There are two sub-programs within this opportunity:
• Resiliency and Equity Grants (up to $50,000)
