Failure to pay any tax that is due by February 2, 2026 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of January 1, 2026.

The Town of Manchester has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its annual comprehensive annual report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022.
"This recognition is a testament to the strong commitment and exceptional expertise demonstrated by our accounting team in ensuring accurate and transparent financial reporting. Financial reporting plays a critical role in establishing trust and confidence among our citizens, and this certificate serves as validation of our department's pursuit of accuracy, integrity, and adherence to accounting standards," says Manchester’s Director of Finance Kim Lord. The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
“Manchester is very fortunate to have such a talented and dedicated team leading our financial operations,” said Town Manager Steve Stephanou. “This award is a reflection of the professionalism, high standards, and hard work the Finance Department team brings to its role every day,” says Town Manager Steve Stephanou.
