The Manchester Police Department is issuing an Snow Emergency Parking Ban in advance of a significant winter storm forecasted for this weekend and into early next week.The parking ban will take effect at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, and will remain in effect until 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24.
Trash and recycling curbside collection will not occur on Monday, 2/23. The normal collection schedule will be pushed back 1 day all week. Residents should keep their trash and recycling bins away from the streets and sidewalks until after snow cleanup has been completed.

The Town of Manchester has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its annual comprehensive annual report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022.

Financial reporting plays a critical role in establishing trust and confidence among our citizens, and this certificate serves as validation of our department's pursuit of accuracy, integrity, and adherence to accounting standards," says Manchester’s Director of Finance Kim Lord. The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
