Manchester Daisy-Brownie Girl Scouts Visit Town Hall

Assistant Town Manager Kasia Purciello welcomed Manchester Girl Scouts Troop 10599 to Town Hall on November 26th for an informative and engaging visit. The event began with a short presentation in which the troop was introduced to the core functions of local government, its various departments, and community programs. The Scouts were also joined by Mayor Jay Moran, who spoke with them about the importance of civic engagement and answered their questions about leadership and local government. As a token of appreciation, each Girl Scout received a special goodie bag from the Recreation Department.

Following the presentation, the Girl Scouts embarked on a guided tour of Town Hall, making stops at the Assessment & Collection Office, Town Clerk’s Office, and Customer Service & Information Center. During their tour, they interacted with Town staff and learned more about the services offered to residents and the history of Manchester.
