Bidwell street will be closed from Hartford Road to Ramey drive starting 9/22/2026, for 30 days to allow for sewer main installation. Detour signs have been installed to help residents navigate around closure area.Salters Pool Parking Lot will be closed starting 9/21/2026, for 6-8 weeks to allow reconstruction of the parking lot. Pond access will be maintained during construction.
In the coming weeks, a two-person Arcadis inspection team will conduct in-home service line inspections at select Manchester residences. Team members will carry identification badges and wear Arcadis-branded safety vests. If your property is selected for inspection, you will receive a door hanger notice in advance. Residents are invited to provide input on how to spend Manchester’s federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds during the program year that begins October 1, 2023. Hybrid public hearings will be held Tuesday, February 28th at 11am and 5:30pm. In-person attendees will meet in the Lincoln Center Hearing Room, 494 Main St.
Persons who wish to attend virtually must submit a request to hguerette@manchesterct.gov. Only those who submit a request will receive a link to join the meeting.
