In the coming weeks, a two-person Arcadis inspection team will conduct in-home service line inspections at select Manchester residences. Team members will carry identification badges and wear Arcadis-branded safety vests. If your property is selected for inspection, you will receive a door hanger notice in advance. The Town of Manchester Water Department at 125 Spring Street, Manchester has installed a timer on the bottling station. The timer is set to correspond to the posted times the station is in operation. The bottling station is available to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, which is when our facility is open to the public. This change will be in effect starting Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
The Department installed the timer to discourage the public from entering the site during off hours, and to provide a measure of safety to the public by having staff on site when it is in operation. This will allow the Department to monitor the bottling station.
In the event of a wide scale water outage in our system or large power failure in Manchester affecting residences with wells, arrangements may be made to open the bottling station for a longer period.
