The Extreme Hot Weather Protocol will be activated at 11AM on Tuesday, July 14, and remain in effect through 5:00 PM on Thursday, July 16, this week. During this period, temperatures are expected to reach into the mid-to-high 90s, with the heat index surpassing 100 degrees at times.

The Town of Manchester mailed the tax bills for the October 1, 2025 Grand List on June 22, 2026. The first installment of taxes on the Grand List of October 1, 2025 are due and payable on July 1, 2026. Failure to pay any tax that is due by August 3, 2026 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of July 1, 2026.

The Town of Manchester is happy to announce that two programs utilizing American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds are now open to eligible town businesses.
Business Façade and Signage Improvement Fund Grant Program - offers reimbursement grants for projects to improve the exterior appearance of commercial and mixed-use buildings and signage.
Business Investment Fund Grant Program - offers reimbursable matching grants for projects that address code, access, energy efficiency, or sustainability improvements and promote enhanced use of underutilized space to add jobs, value, and economic vitality.
Both programs aim to enhance commercial properties by promoting structural and aesthetic improvements to increase vibrancy and economic opportunity throughout the town. Learn More
