GIS

The Geographic Information Services Unit is responsible for maintaining the Town's Geographic Information System (GIS) and creating maps and graphic products for multiple Town Departments and the public. GIS is a computer system designed to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage and present all types of spatial (geographical) data. GIS started in Manchester in 1999 and has grown ever since.
