Bidwell street will be closed from Hartford Road to Ramey drive starting 9/22/2026, for 30 days to allow for sewer main installation. Detour signs have been installed to help residents navigate around closure area.Salters Pool Parking Lot will be closed starting 9/21/2026, for 6-8 weeks to allow reconstruction of the parking lot. Pond access will be maintained during construction.
In the coming weeks, a two-person Arcadis inspection team will conduct in-home service line inspections at select Manchester residences. Team members will carry identification badges and wear Arcadis-branded safety vests. If your property is selected for inspection, you will receive a door hanger notice in advance. All Continuum meetings take place in the Manchester Room, Town Hall at 8:30 a.m.
The Continuum of Care Working Group is an affiliation of local and State agencies, and non-profit organizations and service providers that work together to collect, assess and distribute information about and advocates for the development of housing, programs and services to provide and maintain adequate, affordable housing and supports for the homeless and those at risk of homelessness.
